What the notice says

The Naval Air Systems Command (NAVAIR) intends to negotiate and award a sole source Delivery Order with Sikorsky Aircraft Corporation (SAC), a Lockheed Martin company 6900 Main Street, Stratford CT 06614 for the non-recurring efforts to develop and deliver a CH-53K Cybersecurity Implementation Plan (CSIP). The Contractor shall provide technical management of all tasks to include engineering task planning and management, financial planning and reporting, schedule and planning oversight and contracts coordination. s been the sole designer, developer and manufacturer of the CH-53K weapon system. SAC is the only known responsible source with the requisite knowledge, technical data, capability, experience, special tooling, and test facilities necessary to fulfill the Government's requirements within the required timeframes. This requirement will be procured in accordance with the statutory authority permitting other than full and open competition under 10 U.S.C. 3204(a)(1), as implemented by the Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) 6.302-1, in that SAC is the only responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements.

Value counts new single-winner awards. "Shared" awards are multiple-award contracts that list every winner with the same total ceiling (same contract, or the same office, day and amount); that ceiling is not one company's win, so it is not added in. Contract modifications are not new awards and are not added in either. Notices whose amount is a placeholder such as $999,999,999 are not added in. Revenue next to a ticker is the company's revenue over the latest 12 months in its SEC filings.

Investor context
  • $LMT reported $77.0B revenue (12 months to Jun 28, 2026). The median single-winner award in these 3 past awards, $3.1M, is under 0.1% of that. SEC filing

One award's total value against one year of revenue; many awards are paid over several years.

Materiality: one award's value as a share of the winner's revenue over the latest 12 months in its SEC filings (or its last fiscal year, as noted when you point at it). Low under 1%, Medium 1 to 5%, High 5% or more. Many awards are paid over several years, so this overstates a single year's share.

Companies are matched to tickers by exact name, including the subsidiaries a company lists in its SEC filings. A company we could not match shows no market rows; that is a miss, not a finding.
