Minimal follow-on requirements for this project (about $6000 per FY). This product will support our school age programs and help keep accountability within our programs. We are mandated to keep accountability of all children, and our choice boards is one tool that we utilize. Per AFI 34-144 the school age program is required to provide supervision and accountability procedures to protect children while in care. Experiences from other Air Forces Bases allow the conclusion that the software is reliable and meets the needs of our programs that focuses on school aged children. This software helped employees keep track of children throughout the year with no lapses of supervision and enhances the efficiency of supervision accountability duties for employees. The system should offer a compatible hardware/software solution, consisting of smart boards, software and licenses, muster, tablets, and computers that are compatible. The interface and software should also be kid friendly and designed for the use of children. We screened various vendors like bamboo HR and activtrak. We requested information to see if the companies are able to provide customized software for children and education institutions. However, available solutions only track digital work of employees or via human resources (on-boarding new employees, pay data, etc. Savance has experience with military childcare facilities and can customize their items and software to the unique needs of our facilities.Savance specializes in electronic in-out boards, however, they are flexible and will create an electronic choice board that meets the needs of the school age programs. Vendor provides the software and hardware, needed for the planed project for the school age program. The vendor provides the hardware and software for the youth program facilities at Andrews Air Force Base. The facility employees are very satisfied with the performance of the system.
