Award
Not yet. Typical award: Jan 15, 2026 to May 3, 2026, middle of the range Feb 28, 2026.
Measured from 457 past early notices at Defense Logistics Agency with NAICS 336413 that later posted an award (middle half of cases, counted from Oct 22, 2025).
Responses are due Feb 11, 2026, so an award before then is unlikely; past cases include short solicitations.

Next steps for this stage

  • Answer the notice: this is when the requirement can still be shaped.
  • Contact the contracting officer named on the notice.
  • Check who won similar work; they are the likely bidders.

What the notice says

This synopsis is to provide notice that a solicitation will be issued for the KC-46 Landing Gear Performance Based Logistics (PBL) program. The purpose of this contract will be to obtain remanufacture and overhaul support for all KC-46 Landing Gear Depot Level Repairables (DLRs) to include shipsets and field level replaceable subcomponents to meet the required programmed Time Change Intervals (TCI) and field level demands. The items associated with this effort are considered commercial products. A list of NSNs that will be covered by this acquisition are attached to this synopsis. This PBL wil… (show all)

l be a requirements-type contract with a 5-year basic period and a 5-year option period. The total contract duration shall not exceed 10 years. The anticipated contract will be awarded on a Fixed Price with Economic Price Adjustment (FP-EPA) basis. There is reasonable expectation that offers will be obtained from at least two responsible small business concerns, therefore this will be a single-award small business set-aside. The formal RFP will be active from February 11, 2026 through July 28, 2026. It is anticipated that the RFP will be posted to SAM.gov prior to this date to allow potential offerors additional time to preview the requirement.

Value counts single-winner awards. "Shared" awards are multiple-award contracts that list every winner with the same total ceiling; that ceiling is not one company's win, so it is not added in. Revenue next to a ticker is the company's last annual revenue from its 10-K.

Investor context
  • $ETN reported $23.2B revenue in FY2025. The median single-winner award in these 7 past awards, $1.4M, is under 0.1% of that. 10-K

One award's total value against one year of revenue; many awards are paid over several years.

Latest awards

Materiality: one award's value as a share of the winner's revenue over the latest 12 months in its SEC filings (or its last fiscal year, as noted when you point at it). Low under 1%, Medium 1 to 5%, High 5% or more. Many awards are paid over several years, so this overstates a single year's share.

Competitive landscape

For the 4 most frequent past winners above. Lobbying is matched by the company's exact name or exact ticker; agencies are as named on the filings.

  • 0 of these past winners lobbied Defense Logistics Agency since 2024 (0 filings)
  • 0 of their lobbyists list a past Defense Logistics Agency job
  • No corporate PAC money from them to the overseeing committees since 2024
  • 0 foreign-agent (FARA) registrations

Market

For past winners matched exactly to a listed company. Insider trades are open-market buys and sells (Form 4) in the last 90 days, shown as facts; our own study found insiders do not reliably buy ahead of awards. A sale marked 10b5-1 was made under a trading plan set up in advance.

Companies are matched to tickers by exact name only. A company we could not match shows no market rows; that is a miss, not a finding.
