What the notice says

The General Services Administration (GSA), Public Buildings Service (PBS) Office of Acquisition Management intends to hire a construction contractor to implement and enhance security and esthetics for the area around the Harry S Truman (HST) building located in Washington DC. The Government will utilize the Design-Bid-Build (DBB) delivery method. DBB is the traditional delivery method where design and construction are sequential and contracted for separately, with two contracts and two contractors. The project shall adhere to the GSA PBS Core Building Standards. HST is located at 2201 C St NW,… (show all)

The construction contractor can work around the facility without restriction based on DC ordinances and may be restricted if requested by the DOS Building Manager due to noise and dust after 9 PM or if the building is closed by the Diplomatic Security Bureau as a matter of national security. This major renovation project will replace the temporary security measures surrounding the building to provide countermeasures that will secure the building, protect employees and visitors, and improve the surrounding streetscape by creating an attractive and accessible environment for pedestrians. Once complete, the temporary security measures will be replaced with tested and proven countermeasures that will secure the building, protect employees and visitors, and improve the surrounding streetscape by creating an attractive and accessible environment for pedestrians. Value counts single-winner awards. "Shared" awards are multiple-award contracts that list every winner with the same total ceiling; that ceiling is not one company's win, so it is not added in. Revenue next to a ticker is the company's last annual revenue from its 10-K.
