This procurement is for an extensive range of infectious disease testing covering microorganisms such as Methicillin Resistant Staph aureus (MRSA), Clostridioides (Clostridium) difficile Toxin (C diff), Carbapenemase Resistant Enterobacteriaceae (CRE), Chlamydia trachomatis/Neisseria gonorrhoeae (CT/NG), Beta hemolytic Streptococcus Group A (Streptococcus pyogenes), SARS-Coronaviru… (show all)

s-2, Hemophilus influenzae (influenza A and influenza B), Respiratory syncytial virus (RSV), and Vaginal Infection Molecular Test to be used on the Cepheid GeneXpert Infinity that is owned by the facility. This action is for supplies for which the Government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source under the authority of Revolutionary FAR Overhaul 12.102 (b) and 41 USC §1901, only one will meet the Government s needs. Only one source is capable of responding due to the unique or specialized nature of the supplies and/or services. It is the Government s belief that the proposed candidate is the only authorized provider of the reagents that can meet the agency s needs. Interested persons may identify their interest and capability to respond to the requirement. All responsible sources may submit a quotation, bid, or proposal, as appropriate, which will be considered by the agency. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals and no solicitation is available. Any responses received will only be considered for the purposes of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement in lieu of sole source contract described in this notice, and such determination shall be made at the sole discretion of the Government. Supporting evidence must be furnished in sufficient detail to demonstrate the ability to comply with the requirement. If no responses are received, the government will proceed with the Sole Source acquisition. Any response should be emailed to Moneque Rodriguez at moneque.rodriguez@va.gov by 13:00PM Eastern Standard Time on February 20, 2026.

Value counts new single-winner awards. "Shared" awards are multiple-award contracts that list every winner with the same total ceiling (same contract, or the same office, day and amount); that ceiling is not one company's win, so it is not added in. Contract modifications are not new awards and are not added in either. Revenue next to a ticker is the company's revenue over the latest 12 months in its SEC filings.

Companies are matched to tickers by exact name, including the subsidiaries a company lists in its SEC filings. A company we could not match shows no market rows; that is a miss, not a finding.
