What the notice says

This is not a solicitation but rather a Sources Sought Synopsis to determine potential sources for information and planning purposes only. The Air Force is issuing this repair sources sought announcement as part of a market research survey to determine if additional sources exist that could become qualified for repair of the F-16 Heads Up Display (HUD) and its components. NSN:(See attached NSN_Qty) , Part Number: (See attached NSN_Qty)The respondent would need to be able to demonstrate the ability to obtain or create those resources necessary to perform trouble shooting, repair and acceptance … (show all)

testing of the F-16 DED Head_Tray in a timely fashion. Acceptance Test Procedures (ATP) must be derived from a Performance Test specification provided by the government. The ATP must then be approved by government engineering prior to source qualification. If the offeror can develop or obtain the data, manuals, and tech orders from another party, they must be able to demonstrate that they have access to such resources and the legal right to use said resources to repair assets for the government.

Value counts single-winner awards. "Shared" awards are multiple-award contracts that list every winner with the same total ceiling; that ceiling is not one company's win, so it is not added in. Revenue next to a ticker is the company's last annual revenue from its 10-K.

Investor context
  • $MOG-A reported $3.3B revenue in FY2025. The median single-winner award in these 4 past awards, $4.1M, is 0.1% of that. 10-K

One award's total value against one year of revenue; many awards are paid over several years.

Latest awards

Materiality: one award's value as a share of the winner's revenue over the latest 12 months in its SEC filings (or its last fiscal year, as noted when you point at it). Low under 1%, Medium 1 to 5%, High 5% or more. Many awards are paid over several years, so this overstates a single year's share.
