A1: There is no ordered sequence, however, the VA to have 35 calendar days notice prior to start detailing specific room start dates and finishes. Coordinate with COR. Room 2109 MUST be completely abated during off hours, and over a weekend. Starting FRIDAY 1630 MONDAY 0630. All areas are to be abated off hours. Re-finishing can occur during business hours. Sequencing of room abatement and refinish… (show all)

to be kept to absolute minimum in order for VA to return these spaces to use. Q2: Will the VAIH be able to get TEM results within <12 hours to allow an area to be abated one night and the containment removed the next? A2: Typical wait time for TEM results is 24hrs. This will depend on time of day delivered to lab and day of week. VA not planning on expediting TEMs. Q3: Is the CPIH required to be onsite during the VAIHs clearance collection and during containment removal activities? A3: Yes, CPIH is required to be onsite during all abatement activities see Specification Section 2.2 for the scope of the CPIH. The CPIH is also expected to accompany the VPIH on all visual clearance inspections. Q4: Can B044 and B046 be done together at one time? A4: B044 and B046 can both be completed at the same time. However, the VA planned this to be done as separate containments and would need to be abated that way but can be done at same time. However, VA to have 35 calendar days notice prior to start detailing specific room start dates and finishes. Coordinate with COR. Q5: At B12 Room 7, the door will need to remain open while awaiting the TEM results. Do you require plywood to be secured within the opening for security purposes? A5: The SOW was incorrect in Room Number see attachment B12 Room 004 but correct is Room 4 the landing and room connected to the stairwell. There are three doors so it is expected that the outer door will be able to remain closed during abatement. Decon can go in Room B2 and window opens in B3 and can be used for negative air. Window unit will need to be removed (or moved) potentially so GC to include. Q6: There is no vent location in 2109. Since this room requires TEM sampling, the containment will have to remain up for at least one daytime shift while the hospital is under operation. Can we vent through 2108? Keep in mind this will require HEPA exhaust tubing to be suspended from the ceiling until the containment is removed. A6: Reference attachment Ventilation in Room 2109 . Depending on when construction starts there are 3x windows that can be used for ventilation, rooms 2129, 2150, and 2152. VA to have 35 calendar days notice prior to start detailing specific room starts and finishes. Room 2109 MUST be completely abated during off hours, over a weekend. Starting FRIDAY 1630 MONDAY 0630. Coordinate with COR. GC will have to remove the whole window unit if they want to use window in room 2108. Q7: Can you please provide the sign in sheet from the site walk? A7: Yes, the sign in sheet is attached. Q8: Is the base to be installed vinyl or carpet? And it all appeared to be 6", is that correct? A8: Johnsonite 6 height Color: Snow White or equivalent. Supersedes 4 that is in the spec. Q9: Waiting Room 2109 - Where is the closest exhaust/ventilation opening to route negative air? A9: See answer to Q6. Q10: Rooms 1072,1299,1293,2109 - Please confirm that there is tile and mastic under the carpet in these rooms. A10: Based on previous adjacent abatement and homogeneous finish, the above rooms are presumed to have mastic and leveler that need to be abated. Q11: Is the VA carrying a VPM for this off-hour project? A11: The VA is providing a VPIH, the Contractor is responsible for a CPIH. VA will be using Mabbett and Associates Inc for VPIH services. Q12: Who is responsible for paying for the TEM? A12: VA is paying for the first TEM, contractor is responsible for subsequent TEMs if the first test fails. Q13: Will every room be available during the entire project, or will they be completed in phases? A13: There is no ordered sequence, however, the VA to have 35 calendar days notice prior to start - detailing specific room start dates and finishes. The ability to do multiple spaces will depend on the contractor # of crews, means and methods, and ability to immediately start refinishing after abatement activity. Coordinate with COR. Room 2109 MUST be completely abated during off hours, and over a weekend. Starting FRIDAY 1630 MONDAY 0630. All areas are to be abated off hours. Off Hours considered 1630-0630. Value counts single-winner awards. "Shared" awards are multiple-award contracts that list every winner with the same total ceiling; that ceiling is not one company's win, so it is not added in. Revenue next to a ticker is the company's last annual revenue from its 10-K.
