What the notice says

The N0002426C4434 contract for the Boilers Repair and Maintenance on the USS BOXER (LHD 4) and USS IWO JIMA (LHD 7) was recently modified to include the addition of the USS WASP (LHD1), USS ESSEX (LHD 2), USS KEARSARGE (LHD 3), and USS BATAAN (LHD 5) into the scope of work. The modification incorporates the inter-availability support, inspections & assessments, engineering & design support (i.e., conducting periodic material condition assessments of the boilers and ensuring specifications reflect the material condition of the ship), execution planning & preparation (i.e., preparing to complete… (show all)

both emergent and continuous maintenance availabilities), material procurement, maintenance, alteration and repair of the boiler systems on the USS WASP (LHD1), USS ESSEX (LHD 2), USS KEARSARGE (LHD 3), and USS BATAAN (LHD 5) in the three (3) year period of performance. This action aligns with the contracts current contract line item number (CLIN) structure, which includes emergent repair for USS BOXER (LHD 4) and USS IWO JIMA (LHD 7). For clarity, this scope also applies to the USS BOXER (LHD 4) and USS IWO JIMA (LHD 7). This modification adds similar emergent repair CLINs for the aforementioned four additional LHDs, as well as new CLINs for Provision Items Ordered (PIO) and travel reimbursement for each additional ship. All inquiries should be e-mailed to CDR Greg Sceviour (gregory.p.sceviour.mil@us.navy.mil) and Contract Specialist Kevin Becker (kevin.r.becker2.civ@us.navy.mil). The Government does not commit to providing a response to any inquiries resulting from this synopsis.

Value counts single-winner awards. "Shared" awards are multiple-award contracts that list every winner with the same total ceiling; that ceiling is not one company's win, so it is not added in.
