What the notice says

***Amendment 0001**** Amendment 0001 provides resposnes to questions received in response to the solicitation. Q.1. I am reviewing Notice ID 1333ND26QNB640601 and would appreciate some clarification regarding the analytical requirements. Would you be able to share the analytes of interest, the required detection limits, and the expected concentration ranges for the system? A.1. This analyzer will be used for the analysis of binary gas mixtures in nitrogen or air balance gases. The analyses performed will include a wide range of gaseous standard reference materials including: 1 ppm methane in a… (show all)

ir and 250 ppm carbon monoxide in nitrogen, both analyzed using the flame ionization detector with methanation, and 0.5 % carbon dioxide in nitrogen analyzed using the thermal conductivity detector. This analyzer will also be used for analyses of ambient level CO in air mixtures, ranging from (40 200) ppb. Q.2. What types of samples will be tested? A.2. This analyzer will be used for analyses of high pressure gas mixtures in nitrogen or air balance gases. Q.3. What specific substances or compounds need to be detected or analyzed in these samples? If available, please also share any specific testing standards or requirements. With this information, we can better understand your application and recommend a suitable instrument configuration and quotation accordingly. A.3. As stated above, this analyzer will be used for the analysis of high pressure gas mixtures delivered at or below 25 psig. The analyses performed will include a wide range of gaseous standard reference materials including: 1 ppm methane in air and 250 ppm carbon monoxide in nitrogen, both analyzed using the flame ionization detector with methanation, and 0.5 % carbon dioxide in nitrogen analyzed using the thermal conductivity detector. For improved precision, temperature ramping and stable detector response are required to achieve baseline resolution between components in air balance gas. In all cases the repeatability should be at or below 0.2 % relative area counts. Q.4. Regarding your software requirements, you cite Visual Basic Version 6.0. Would that software be able to generate an XML file to communicate with our software (CompassCDS)? A.4. The visual basic software was developed to support communication between the GC software and a 12-port dead-end VICI sampling valve. The software can retrieve data from a txt file generated by the GC software and output the data to excel. There is not an extension to the solicitation as a result of this amendment. The question period for this soliciation will close today, September 17,2026, at 4:00 PM ET. End of Amendment 0001 ******** See attached.

Value counts single-winner awards. "Shared" awards are multiple-award contracts that list every winner with the same total ceiling; that ceiling is not one company's win, so it is not added in. Revenue next to a ticker is the company's last annual revenue from its 10-K.

Latest awards

Materiality: one award's value as a share of the winner's revenue over the latest 12 months in its SEC filings (or its last fiscal year, as noted when you point at it). Low under 1%, Medium 1 to 5%, High 5% or more. Many awards are paid over several years, so this overstates a single year's share.

Competitive landscape

For the 8 most frequent past winners above. Lobbying is matched by the company's exact name or exact ticker; agencies are as named on the filings.

  • 0 of these past winners lobbied Commerce, Dept of (DOC) since 2024 (0 filings)
  • 0 of their lobbyists list a past Commerce, Dept of (DOC) job
  • No corporate PAC money from them to the overseeing committees since 2024
  • 0 foreign-agent (FARA) registrations

Market

For past winners matched exactly to a listed company. Insider trades are open-market buys and sells (Form 4) in the last 90 days, shown as facts; our own study found insiders do not reliably buy ahead of awards. A sale marked 10b5-1 was made under a trading plan set up in advance.
