What the notice says

Authority for this sole source requirement is conducted through FAR 13.106-1(b)(1), Soliciting from a Single Source for purchases not exceeding the simplified acquisition threshold. First-In branded items are the only components capable of completely interfacing with the First-In Fire Station Alerting System in use at all ten of Eglin Air Force Base's (AFB) fire stations. The use of any other manufacturer's components, should they exist, would leave the Fire Department with an incapable system and void all active warranties for the First-In Fire Station Alerting System. As the manufacturer, We… (show all)

stnet Inc. strictly controls the manufacturing process and distribution of First-In supplies with no authorized re-sellers. Additionally, Westnet Inc. controls who is authorized to install the manufactured items in order to preserve all included warranties. As a result, if a third party could source First-In items, they would be without the warranties offered from the manufacturer.

Value counts single-winner awards. "Shared" awards are multiple-award contracts that list every winner with the same total ceiling; that ceiling is not one company's win, so it is not added in. Revenue next to a ticker is the company's last annual revenue from its 10-K.

Investor context
  • $LHX reported $19.4B revenue in FY2025. The median single-winner award in these 7 past awards, $162K, is under 0.1% of that. 10-K

One award's total value against one year of revenue; many awards are paid over several years.

Latest awards

Materiality: one award's value as a share of the winner's revenue over the latest 12 months in its SEC filings (or its last fiscal year, as noted when you point at it). Low under 1%, Medium 1 to 5%, High 5% or more. Many awards are paid over several years, so this overstates a single year's share.
