What the notice says

Title: Request for Information (RFI) for Fresh Milk & Dairy Products support for DLA Troop Support to military customers in the States of New Jersey (NJ) and New York (NY). Dear Valued Suppliers: This is a Request for Information (RFI). DLA Troop Supports (Agency) Subsistence Produce and Market Fresh Program is interested in comments and feedback regarding the Agencys fresh Milk and Dairy items to the Department of Defense (DoD Troop). There is no solicitation available at this time. The Government will not pay for any information received in response to this RFI, nor will the Governme… (show all)

nt compensate any respondent for any cost incurred in developing the information provided to the Government. This RFI does not constitute a commitment from the Government and any information provided in response to this market survey will be used for informational purposes only and will not be released. Any proprietary information submitted will be protected if appropriately marked. Please note that by responding to the instant Agency request, a potential offeror is not promised any future business with the Government. The sole purpose of this RFI is to conduct market research to assist the Agency in crafting an appropriate solicitation in the future. Background: The Agency intends to issue a solicitation and ultimately enter into indefinite quantity contract(s) (IQC) with a commercial firm(s) to supply fresh Milk and Dairy products to military customers located in the States of New Jersey and New York zone. Acceptance of supplies awarded under this solicitation will be limited to fresh products. All products delivered under this contract must conform to the following requirements: 1. Customers are two Groups: (Group 1 - Maguire AFB, Fort Dix; Group 2 Edison, JCC, NWS Earle). 2. These include Fresh Milk and Dairy products. The freshness requirement of the product being delivered may not be compromised. 3. The offerors distance from the delivery location is very important. The offeror must be capable of delivering products to arrive at the delivery location the same day for emergency orders if necessary. 4. Commercial standards should be used to maintain temperatures appropriate for the individual items. When proposing in response to a solicitation, failure to propose the specified quality requirement per item as identified above may render an offerors proposal technically unacceptable. This will consist of DoD/Troop customers in the States of NJ and NY zone (Maguire AFB, Fort Dix, Edison, JCC, and NWS Earle). After soliciting, the Agency intends to make one award per group. The Period of Performance for the resultant contract is for three years is September 20, 2026, to September 22, 2029, or five years is September 20, 2026, to September 20, 2031. Offerors are required to propose on all items in the Schedule of Items for each Group, on which the offeror offers. Failure to do so may result in a proposal being deemed technically unacceptable and therefore excluded from further consideration for award. Because the Contracting Officer is not obligated to initiate negotiations, when proposing to the solicitation each offeror shall submit its most competitive proposal for each Group it has chosen to propose on. Said proposal shall be responsive to all of the Solicitations requirements and free from any deficiencies. If interested, we strongly recommend you respond using the attached questionnaire. We appreciate and thank you in advance for any feedback. Your responses regarding this Request for Information (RFI) are requested back by the close of business on April 9, 2026. Please respond via e-mail to the following address: Kasey McConnell-Rosinski, Kasey.Mcconnell-Rosinski@dla.mil and Linda Saunders, Linda.Saunders@dla.mil . PLEASE NOTE: You are only required to send back the completed PDF file Market Research Survey DAIRY New Jersey/New York.

Value counts single-winner awards. "Shared" awards are multiple-award contracts that list every winner with the same total ceiling; that ceiling is not one company's win, so it is not added in. Revenue next to a ticker is the company's last annual revenue from its 10-K.
