ADNS is a Navy Program of Record (POR) that adapts a variety of Commercial-Off-the-Shelf (COTS) and Government Off-the-Shelf (GOTS) hardware and software. Due to configuration and technical upgrades, ADNS is fielded in differing variants for Surface, Ship, Submarines, Aircraft, and Naval Shore stations.
