What the notice says
This is a special notice prepared in accordance with Revolutionary Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Overhaul (RFO) Subpart 5.1 "Pre-solicitation." U.S. Forest Service intends to negotiate/award a sole-source contract with NatureServe Analysis Inc. The size standard is $19.5M for the NAICS code defined by the U.S. Small Business Administration. THIS NOTICE IS NOT A REQUEST FOR PROPOSAL. All responsible sources may submit a capability statement to the Contracting Officer/Specialist before the notice end date. If no affirmative written responses are received by 10:00 AM Pacific Time on 11 August 2026, an award will be made without further notice. Oral communications are not acceptable in response to this notice. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed requirement is solely within the discretion of the Government.
