What the notice says

the direction and authority of EO 14253 - Restoring Truth and Sanity to American History. The requirement calls for single contractor that is FedRAMP certified to provide all labor, materials, specialized equipment and incidentals to provide adequate video security and maintain 24/7 surveillance of the President's House Site at INDE. The Government intends to award a sole source contract to Carahsoft Technology Corp, the primary distributor of the brand-name specific Veckada. Inc. who was found to provide the only FedRAMP Certified physical and video solutions. A determination not to compete this proposed contract was made pursuant to the Revolutionary Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) 12.102 (a), "For acquisitions valued at or below the simplified acquisition threshold (SAT), document the decision that only one source is available and the basis for the decision." INDE has an immediate need to purchase two (2) new FedRAMP compliant security camera module trailers to provide additional protection to INDE Park Staff, Visitors and the historical resources at the President House Site. INDE is required to replace the existing interpretation panels at the President House Site per EO - 14253 - Restoring Truth and Sanity to American. The replacement of these interpretation panels is creating a lot of security concerns for INDE and VRP, because it requires 24/7 monitoring to ensure the panel replacement is completed, and prevent and limit potential damages outside of normal park operations. Carahsoft Technology Corp., has been identified through Market Research as the only vendor that can provide distribute the FedRAMP Certified Verkada, Inc. physical and video security solutions within the time frame and meet the IT security requirements that are mandated through FedRAMP. The Government intends to use Revolutionary FAR Part 12 as mandated by the DOI. This requirement is reserved will not be set-aside for Small Business Concerns, as both Carahsoft Technology Corp and Verkada, Inc. are other than small business concerns and will be awarded under the North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) Code: 334310 Audio and Video Equipment Manufacturing, 750 Size Standard.
