What the notice says
The Bureau of Engraving and Printing (BEP) is a component of the Department of the Treasury that designs, engraves, and prints U.S. banknote currency and other U.S. security products. Banknote currency manufacturing occurs at the BEP Eastern Currency Facility in Washington, D.C. (ECF) and the BEP Western Currency Facility (WCF) in Fort Worth, TX. In support of these operations at BEP's District Currency Facility (ECF), located in Washington, DC. The BEP, Office of Quality Operations (OQO) has a need for a new Video Spectral Comparator (VSC) (also referred to as instrument, equipment, or system… (show all)
within the text of this SOW). The Office of Quality Operations Analytical and Method Development Division(OQO/AMDD) of BEP has a requirement for a VSC. The VSC has capabilities that include document and security features imaging and hyperspectral analyses which is useful for all the divisions within the OQO and the Office of Quality Engineering & Management. This instrument will assist in the imaging and analysis of the Catalyst family of notes in addition to defects seen in production. This acquisition of enhanced specific spectral and imaging capabilities will have a direct impact on the efficiency of printed currency production and QC analysis. The benefits of a VSC are having the ability to obtain quantitative information about materials, security features, and durability of test samples and banknotes.

Value counts single-winner awards. "Shared" awards are multiple-award contracts that list every winner with the same total ceiling; that ceiling is not one company's win, so it is not added in. Revenue next to a ticker is the company's last annual revenue from its 10-K.
- $TMO reported $42.9B revenue in FY2025. The median single-winner award in these 5 past awards, $100K, is under 0.1% of that. 10-K
- $A reported $6.8B revenue in FY2025. The median single-winner award in these 5 past awards, $100K, is under 0.1% of that. 10-K
One award's total value against one year of revenue; many awards are paid over several years.

Materiality: one award's value as a share of the winner's revenue over the latest 12 months in its SEC filings (or its last fiscal year, as noted when you point at it). Low under 1%, Medium 1 to 5%, High 5% or more. Many awards are paid over several years, so this overstates a single year's share.
